2010 "Klickitat" Pinot Gris

2010 KLICKITAT, Pinot Gris, American (1,200 cases produced)

Once again, due to the disappointing yields at Margerum Ranch Vineyard we have purchased additional fruit from our neighbor Paul Huber.  We harvested as the snow and rain approached in early October.  Very pretty Pinot Gris – physiologically ripe with very low sugar.  The wine is more Germanic in style and structure – there is a slight sweetness backed with intense acidity – making it a perfect by the glass wine and a great accompaniment with seafood and spicy Asian cuisine.
